Hi there. I would like to know where and how to edit the footer in the Lifestyle theme on Genesis.
I want to remove the text that promotes the theme/Wordpress logout.
Thank you.

October 26, 2013 at 3:28 am #69024RobGMemberA simple way to doing this can be added by using the following snippets, open your function.php file and add this filter code to help you change the credit info for your theme. Just save any and all, changes you make.
//* Change the footer text add_filter('genesis_footer_creds_text', 'sp_footer_creds_filter'); function sp_footer_creds_filter( $creds ) { $creds = '[footer_copyright] · <a href="//mydomain.com"">My Custom Link</a> · Built on the <a href="//www.studiopress.com/themes/genesis"" title=""Genesis">Genesis Framework</a>'; return $creds; }

© 2013 · Your Thriving Family · Built on the Genesis FrameworkNovember 12, 2013 at 4:47 pm #72580SaraYTFMemberIt changed it and now I am getting this:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/family/public_html/wp-content/themes/lifestyle-pro/functions.php on line 106
November 13, 2013 at 3:11 pm #72765RobGMemberI don't see any error message Sara

Do you know how to adjust the code to say this?

November 13, 2013 at 5:50 pm #72812RobGMemberHere you go Sara, I added your link to your website also just copy the function.php as you see below and replace your current one with the new function I've provided.
If you add it just as you see it below you should not have any problems breaking your function.php file. If that does happen you can just fix it by accessing your function.php for your theme using your cpanel and remove the codes.
Good luck please et me know if you have any problemes.
