I would like to edit the header title area and put more space below my clients logo, a couple of lines so that I can add some company information. I have looked through the child theme files and cannot find any place where I would eidt or ad any code to support this. The website is under development and can be seen at http://www.srinternetservices.com/hognutscycle .

Any help, code or ideas are appreciated.

Add a widget area below the header using a custom function or install the Genesis Simple Hooks plugin and add the HTML to the genesis_after_header Hook
/** Add the welcome text section */
add_action( ‘genesis_after_header’, ‘custom_welcome_text’ );
function custom_welcome_text() {
genesis_widget_area( ‘welcome-text’, array(
‘before’ => ‘<div class="welcome-text widget-area">’,
) );
}
You’ll get the rest of the code from here http://www.briangardner.com/welcome-text-widget/
