I am using the version 2.0 of Education. I have everything working just fine. But I can’t find where to make the following two changes:

1.) How can I add the side widget that only appear on the home page (Text Widget, Blogroll, Text Widget)

2.) How can remove the recent posts on the home page?

Do you mean you only want the Widget 1 and Widget 2 to only show on the home page and no other pages?

I’m simply trying to duplicate the demo.

I can’t get those widgets on the side to show up. The ones that include the Blogroll. I put text in the  primary and secondary widget areas but

it doesn’t show up on the home page.

I haven’t heard back. Maybe the attached image will help.

How can I create the widgets on the side of the home page of the demo (http://demo.studiopress.com/education/)

The ones on the top right in the blue, rounded boxes (Text Widget, Blogroll, Text Widget) ?

You just drag what you want into the Secondary Sidebar.

You must set the default template to be the three column layout to get the sidebar to show up on the right, unfortunately this also makes it so you then have to change the template for every other page created if you don’t want the sidebar to show up, kind of annoying but I guess it works.

As for part two, it was answered by someone else at the link below.
