    I would like to change the size of the photos on the post excerpts on my blog page in Eleven 40 Pro to a thmbnail image instead, but have no idea how to do that. Any guidance is appreciated.

    Are you talking about the images in the grid at the bottom of the page?

    Yes, that’s what I’m talking about.

    Find this in your functions.php:

    //* Add new featured image size
    add_image_size( 'grid-featured', 270, 100, TRUE );

    And change it to this:

    //* Add new featured image size
    add_image_size( 'grid-featured', 150, 150, TRUE );

    You may need to regenerate thumbnails but that will change the grid images to thumbnails. However, if you want them to be left aligned with the text wrapping around, you’ll need to edit home.php – look for the grid_image_class and change it from this:

    'grid_image_class' => 'grid-featured',

    to

    'grid_image_class' => 'alignleft post-image',

    That should get them (1) changed to thumbnails and (2) aligned left with wrapped text.
