    Hello all!

    I would SO appreciate your help, Im a bit stuck in trying to make the full width of the header white while having the background be black.

    My goal is to make the theme look like this:

    http://imageshack.us/a/img651/8652/simn8tion.jpg

    So heres what I did so far (Tell me if it’s right) I gave the Inner Wrap some padding as well as a BG color of white, and then I gave the Wrap a BG color of black which has gotten me to where I am. Now I would like to change the color of just the Header to a white and make it taller.

    I have assigned a height to the wrap but that defeats the bg color of black if I do it that way. I would SO appreciate help here.

    Ultimately I want to make the white header fixed up top but im sure i will have to open another post. First things first :D

    Thanks SO much everybody, I really appreciate. Please answer as much as you can, all ideas and tips welcome!

    Oh! Sorry I scrolled past it. Try adding this to the bottom of your Style.css file. You can modify it as needed:

    #header {
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    height: 125px;
    }
