I’m trying to limit the wide text header… eg: ‘a mobile responsive theme built for the genesis framework’

only to display on the homepage. Right now, it displays everywhere.

I tried the code suggestion by Jon Buscall on http://www.briangardner.com/welcome-text-widget/#comment-24626

But didn’t work for me.  Any simple instructions out there? Thanks!

Add a conditional tag to the code so the widget only displays on the home page
is_home
Go into functions.php and change this
/** Add the page title section */
add_action( ‘genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap’, ‘eleven40_page_title’ );
function eleven40_page_title() {
genesis_widget_area( ‘page-title’, array(
‘before’ => ‘<div class="page-title widget-area">’,
) );
}
to this
/** Add the page title section */
add_action( ‘genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap’, ‘eleven40_page_title’ );
function eleven40_page_title() {
if( is_home() ) {
genesis_widget_area( ‘page-title’, array(
‘before’ => ‘<div class="page-title widget-area">’,
) );
}}
