    Hello all,

    My goal is to make the theme look like this:

    Here is the current site:

    Im posting here in the forum to get some direction or tips on how to put an image in the header. Since I can’t do it like normal I would assume you position it using CSS. I have never done that before (embarrassing) I would appreciate any help! Thanks so much!

    To replace the site title with your logo, add the following code into functions.php:

    Remove the site title:

    remove_action( 'genesis_site_title', 'genesis_seo_site_title' );
    remove_action( 'genesis_site_description', 'genesis_seo_site_description' );

    Then add in a logo:

    function my_custom_logo() { ?>
    <a href="" title="Home" id="logo">
    <img src="/images/logo.png" alt="Logo" />

    <?php }

    You’ll need to upload your logo into the images directory of your current theme’s folder. Check the extension matches and change .png if required.

    Change the alt text to your site name.

    You can then position the logo using #logo { } in your style.css file.

    Hope that helps.

    That’s an awful lot to do just to replace the logo in this theme.  Goodness!
