    Hi everyone,

    Could really use some help. The theme’s default setting is to display the content of the newest blog post, then excerpt the older entries and display them as a split column below the newest entry. How can I change that to remove the split column, and just display all older entries across the width of the page? Any guidance would be much appreciated, as I am nontechnical.

    Thanks

    Hi akmisha,

    I was looking to do the same thing. Here’s what I did:

    In the home.php file, delete (or comment out) this:

    remove_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_do_loop' );
    add_action( 'genesis_loop', 'eleven40_grid_loop_helper' );
    /** Add support for Genesis Grid Loop */
    function eleven40_grid_loop_helper() {

    	if ( function_exists( 'genesis_grid_loop' ) ) {
    		genesis_grid_loop( array(
    			'features' => 1,
    			'feature_image_size' => 0,
    			'feature_image_class' => 'alignleft post-image',
    			'feature_content_limit' => 0,
    			'grid_image_size'		=> 'grid-thumbnail',
    			'grid_image_class'		=> 'alignnone',
    			'grid_content_limit' => 250,
    			'more' => __( '[Continue reading]', 'genesis' ),
    		) );
    	} else {
    		genesis_standard_loop();
    	}

    }

    and replace it with this:

    remove_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_grid_loop' );

    Not sure if this is the best way to go about it, as I’m fairly new to Genesis, so keep that in mind. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable could comment on whether or not there is a better solution. But it worked for me. :)
