    I’m trying to set up a site using eleven40. I put my logo in the header (top left), but would like to have some text in the top right area of the header. It wasn’t until I got to that part of the set up that I realized there is no top-right/header widget. The thing is, I looked through the forums in set-up instructions again (here ), and found where it clearly says,

    The menu used in the demo of the eleven40 Pro theme is a custom Menu widget placed in the header right widget area.

    It even shows the header widget – header widget

    In my Appearance > Widgets page, this is what I have – no header widget

    Can anyone tell me what’s going on? Did I somehow ‘turn it off’ somewhere??? This seems really odd to me.

    I looked in the functions file and saw this
    //* Unregister the header right widget area
    unregister_sidebar( ‘header-right’ );

    Just put two // in front of unregister_sidebar bit and it should reappear. If it doesn’t I’m mistaken, let me know.

    Please open a support ticket with StudioPress, this is an obvious oversight in this theme. Mods, please also signal this to the powers that be.

    I can not get it to work. I am not sure what I did wrong. I followed the directions. I need my secondary menu to show.
    Thanks!!
    The site is the first and not primary so do not be too critical. It is just to help my students with their class work.

    Hi all,

    I purchased and downloaded eleven40 yesterday too and I don’t see the header right area either?

    I’ve just added // as per emasai suggested and it’s worked a treat :)
