This site is a development site. It is running the Genesis Framework, with the Executive Child Theme.

Here is the link to the child theme: http://my.studiopress.com/themes/executive/

The problem is this: We are not able to see the images when trying to insert images. I have attached a screenshot titled “Insert”. That is what I see when I choose to insert an image that is already in the media library. When I try to upload an image from my computer I get an error. I have attached a screenshot called “error”. After getting the error message you can go to the media library and see the image has been uploaded but cannot insert it anywhere.

Have you tried disabling all other plugins? Genesis doesn’t interact with the Media Library, so it’s unlikely to be the cause of any issue here.

We found out it was a core issue with WordPress. We rolled back to WordPress 3.5. and that fixed the issue. We have not updated WordPress since. So, we dont know if the issue has been fixed with the new installment of WordPress.

It’s rarely a core issue, but how a badly written plugin interacts with core and creates issues.

WP 3.7 is due out soon (we’re on RC1), so I’d advised to update to that when it’s out.
