I installed the recommended plugin ‘Regenerate Thumbnails’ but the images are still way too big. I guess the images need to be compressed. Does this plugin compress images or is there a recommended plugin or do I need to go ‘old school’ and compress images on Microsoft Office picture manager?
    Help please~

    Is this still an issue?

At this time, all of the images that I see in your slider are compressed and sized perfectly at 1140×445 with the exception of this one:

    Hi Robin!
thanks for replying to my issue.
Yes, the photos are fitting within the given size- 1140 x 445, however, the pictures are so big, that to me they are not displaying correctly…meaning this one http://www.naturallyyoursboutique.com/NEWsite2013/beginning-dreadlocks/ is there a ‘drag to fit’ option with the slider? I want to drag the photo’s to ‘fit’ within the slider properly so the pictures can ‘show’ properly.

Do you know how to do this or do you know if I’m doing something wrong?

No, there is no drag and fit option for the slider. You will need to use featured images for pages or posts as you have done correctly.

You may want to resize the slider by going to the Genesis slider settings and change the dimensions to a smaller size. The only way that the slider images can be smaller is if you do that and upload smaller sized images.

I have been working with this slider to no avail. I’m gonna try adjusting the slider settings and see what this yields me.
