Hi I just bought the entire Studiopress Theme package! (I have bought it twice over by buying the themes separately) but what I would like to do is showcase widgets across the pages in rows of 3. I bought the theme and discovered that the home page are not widgets but blog posts and featured images, darn. Here is what the theme looks like http://demo.studiopress.com/expose/ and these maps widgets on this site are what I would like to showcase http://phoenixhomesforsalehq.com. There is not a widget section for the home page for me to tweak this theme, does anyone have any suggestions?
I wanted this site to be nothing but maps to search for homes and title it the “Phoenix Real Estate Search Engine”. Any thoughts?
Here is a tutorial that Travis Smith did – http://wpsmith.net/2011/genesis/how-to-widgetize-the-home-page-of-the-expose-genesis-child-theme/.
Thank You just what I was looking for!
I thought I had it done and then I came up with this error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING, expecting ‘)’ in /home/johntest/public_html/wp-content/themes/expose/home.php on line 39
I copied the code in and removed the line numbers http://johnstestsite.org
I’ll keep plugging away…I did see a place holder for the home page widgets!!!!!!!
I think I got it!
OK thanks I will check it out this week my only question is will it fill three across? We will have to wait and see.
Thanks for all your responses and help anitac.
