Is there any way to pull a category using a widget in the same way that you’d pull a featured post?

I’m using Agency Pro and would like to pull a link to the category page to the Home Middle showing just an image and the category name in the hover.

This is for an ecommerce site using Woocommerce. I’m currently using a Featured posts widget connected to a blog post with Woocomerce Shortcode to display the category. It would work much better if I could connect that to the actual category link though.

The product categories display on archive pages if that’s any help.

    Thanks for any help.

In your blog post that you created, scroll down to Theme SEO Settings and look for this – “Custom Redirect URL” – add the Category Link to that. Then you can remove the shortcode.

That did it. Only thing is I had to turn off Yoast’s WordPress SEO in order to bring up the redirect option. I don’t think that will cause much of a problem as I hadn’t done much to it other than the default settings. Anything I need to be concerned about there? My client isn’t really making much effort in regards to SEO.

Oh, Yoast has a redirect also. You can turn it back on. Then on the Page/Post – go to the SEO settings – click the Advanced tab – scroll down and you will see 301 Redirect. Put your link there.
