I’d like some constructive feedback and/or tips on what might make the responsive design on this site better, for the home page in particular.
The current site looks like this: stopcrime.org – so you can see we’re paring down quite a bit, but I’m not done yet. There are bits and pieces of the home page that just aren’t right yet. Not looking for someone else to FINISH it for me! But just more eyes on it…http://stopcrime.yourcrimesite.com/
It looks great! For your logo though, I would use the Genesis Responsive Header Plugin so that it responds – http://designsbynickthegeek.com/plugins/genesis-responsive-header.
Also, there was an issue with Modern Portfolio not displaying properly in Internet Explorer 7. Some visitors may be viewing in that late version and I am not sure if that’s important to you or not – but there has never been a fix. With that said, I would probably put something somewhere that says, “This site is best view in….” so that if any IE7 or issues come up, maybe the visitor will update their browser.
Thanks for the feedback. The plugin definitely helped.
I think I’m almost done with the exception of the red “Submit A Tip” buttons. I’d like to for them to be displayed on their own line (not wrapped with any text) at most all the breakpoints, but I’m having a hard time getting it to do that. Do you have any thoughts?
