I notice the code attribute seems to be a bit quirky when trying to provide php snippets. Also, the blue box that lists the available HTML tags and attributes is unreadable on my end.

every time I try to go to this new forum using the links http://www.studiopress.com/forums/ – I get a 502 bad gateway page and then I need to user the browser back arrow and refresh a couple of times to be able to finally get in.
Do I need to do something special to avoid this?
Thanks
Lise
November 15, 2012 at 10:48 am #187Lise, we apologize for the difficulty you are having in accessing the StudioPress site. We had an overwhelming response to our announcement email and our server administrator is working as quickly as possible to get the site(s) back online.
Please bear with us as we work through these issues and try back a little later in the day to complete the registration and password reset process.

Will stay away for the rest of the day at least
Having fun are we??
November 15, 2012 at 1:46 pm #207Could code syntax highlighting love get added to inline code block here?
November 15, 2012 at 1:50 pm #208November 15, 2012 at 2:23 pm #219@Brian – Sorry poorly worded. On the old forums there was code syntax highlighting enabled on code snippets.
Old example: http://www.studiopress.com/support/showpost.php?p=474316&postcount=6
New example: http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/using-jquery-isotope/#post-147
In the old example you can see the PHP gets syntax highlighting.
November 15, 2012 at 2:31 pm #220November 15, 2012 at 2:35 pm #221@Brian – I usually use SyntaxHighlghter Evolved: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/syntaxhighlighter/
Crayon is good too: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/crayon-syntax-highlighter/
but I’ve never used either inside bbPress…
November 15, 2012 at 2:37 pm #222One more minor thing… looking at the bbPress search results they come up full content which, IMHO, probably isn’t the best way to display results.
http://www.studiopress.com/forums/?s=css
It’s hard to tell where one entry starts and stops, I thought at first it was just on post coming up. Adding post-info below the titles might make it visually more obvious… and/or switching to excerpts.
Besides that, I usually install http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search-bbpress/ on bbPress forums… much better search results that way.

November 15, 2012 at 3:58 pm #226I wish links in people’s signatures or within the posts would open a new window.

November 15, 2012 at 4:52 pm #236The profiles allow the addition of the usual WordPress links – Yahoo, Aim, Google Talk etc., but no Twitter? Could this extremely common one be added, and be automatically shown on the profile page?
