We’re taking a site from a few years ago and adding some design changes. I’d like my Footer Widget area to be the full width of the site. I’ve accomplished this in other sites, but seem to have some issues here. I set the width to 100% in the CSS file, but haven’t had a change in the width of the widget area. I’m assuming maybe there is something above it that is preventing it? Like the wrap? I also changed the overflow to visible.

    Thank you

You should try Carrie’s <a href="Giving” target=”_blank” />tutorial on moving the headers and footers out of the wrap.

Thanks for the post, but the link isn’t functioning…..looks like it is missing at least a domain extension.

What do you mean missing a domain extension in the link?

The link you posted isn’t a complete link….it is obviously missing a domain extension like .com, .net, etc. and several other pieces that would make it a valid link. The link is set to go to “GIVING” which of course doesn’t go anywhere because it isn’t referencing anything specific on the web. Notice the link you put in doesn’t come through as a hyperlink either….just text.

    Thank you, Jared

Thank you, this is in the right direction, but I really need to move the Footer Widget area….sorry I should have been more specific. I assume this could be done the same way, but if you move the Footer Widget wouldn’t I also need to move the footer?

    Thank you, Jared
