Damn this problem all to hell haha, I'm furious 😛
Here's a band-aide solution, add this to style.css:
.post .entry-title {
display: none;
}
That will stop the title from showing on posts (is_singular) only.
Well ... at this point, I have to do band aids. Slight variation worked:
.single .entry-title {
display: none;
}
Thanks for your help again ... really appreciate it!!!! 🙂
Morning 🙂
Thought I'd push my luck with one more question ... it's related to the genesis featured posts plugin.
I'm trying to get the featured image height to 370px ... so I created a new image type of:
add_image_size( 'related-posts', 530, 370, true );
I then ran the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin.
and then selected the 'related posts' image size in the widget.
But when I view the page, the image dimensions within the html is always square ... so in this case BOTH height and width are showing as 370px.
Do you have any idea why that is and how to fix?
Thanks!
Carl
The code says it's serving a 532x532 image, natural size 960x960, so I'm assuming that whatever you did to set that image size is not working. The plugin MAY not support custom image sizes, though that doesn't seem likely. As of now though, all I can say is it isn't serving the right image size, it's not css related.
