I am a new admin on a site that has a Genesis Dashboard. (Genesis is new to me.)

We do not have a ‘Plugin’ link in the main navigation. It should be below ‘Appearance’ – and it isn’t there. Why?

Have you deactivated all plugins to rule out conflicts? Are WP and Genesis both up to date?

I cannot deactivate anything, because there is no ‘Plugin’ access from the dashboard AT ALL!

The person who set up the site has gone AWOL and does not answer questions, so I am trying to bird-dog this thing.

You need to rename the plugins directory to deactivate the plugins.
