I am using the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified widget in the Enterprise theme Middle 1 widget area.  I only plan to show post titles here, but do not want the post titles to show as h2.  Instead, I would like for them to show as h4 or h5.  Does anyone know how I can do this?

This isn’t something easy to do. You would have ot unhook the gfwa_do_post_title function and build you own. This is something more of an advanced customization.

The h2 post title is what the SEO experts that have consulted on Genesis recommend. What the the purpose for the change in heading?

    To make the font smaller.

If you are just trying to change the look you should really use CSS instead of changing heading tags. You could add #home-middle h2 a { } to your style sheet and create your own font-size just for that.
