I tried to move my site from Thesis to Genesis. The content is basically the same except for the domain name and the design.
The site on Genesis loads in nearly double the time that the site on Thesis does.
What could be causing this?
Original site on Thesis: http://www.award-certificates.com
New site on Genesis: http://www.creativecertificates.com
The new site loaded very fast for me. And, truth be told, Thesis is pretty quick. Still, I believe I’ve found the basic problem, and it’s spelled out right in your HTML output. Your Super Cache needs to be properly set up on the Genesis site:
WP Super Cache is installed but broken. The constant WPCACHEHOME must be set in the file wp-config.php and point at the WP Super Cache plugin directory.
