    Hi,

    I’m using Agency theme with Genesis Responsive slider and I am having problems with the slider excerpt area. Not the text but the height and the Continue Reading button.

    How do I set the exact height of the excerpt space and how do I control placement and size of the Continue Reading button?

    .agency .slide-excerpt {
        padding: 15px;
    }

    #home-slider a.more-link {
        padding: 6px 7px;
        font-size: 0.8rem;
        display: inline-block;
    }

    should result in

    Thanks Sridhar,

    I changed the button size, but what do I do to get it to sit in the next line not in the same line as the text?

    In regards to slide excerpt – it looks better but this is the code I have, which is different to your suggestion. Should I be changing the padding here or adding your code?

    .agency .slide-excerpt {
    filter: alpha(opacity=100);
    margin: 0;
    padding: 22px 40px 22px 20px;
    opacity: 1.0;
    }

    Regards,
    Anahere

    Either you could change the padding value in that (if you do this, it’s a good idea to copy the current padding line, make change in the line below and comment out the original) or just add

    .agency .slide-excerpt {
        padding: 15px;
    }

    at the end in style.css.

    But the above code is irrelevant now that that padding value needs to be changed to take care of your other need i.e., to have the read more button appear in a new line.

    Add the following at the end of child theme’s style.css (WP dashboard -> Appearance -> Editor):

    #home-slider a.more-link {
        display: block;
        text-align: center;
        font-size: 0.8rem;
    }

    .agency .slide-excerpt {
        padding: 5px 10px 5px 10px;
    }

    #home-slider .slide-excerpt-border p {
        padding-bottom: 0;
    }

    to get
