    Hi,

    I am using the Genesis Responsive Slider with the Executive Theme. The slider is displaying for the most part – images showing nicely and working across different browsers and devices. However I have an issue with the excerpt on iPad1/Safari. The top of the except is being cut off. The result is that the headings are only half showing or not at all.

    I’m finding this difficult to debug because the issue only appears on on iPad and I can’t replicate it on an easy to debug browser.

    I have worked out that .slide-except div is actually starting directly under the #header, rather than the #nav. ie. on iPad1 the #nav is covering the .slide-excerpt.

    Take a look at:

    I have had a look at the Executive Demo in iPad and it works. The difference is that the nav is not directly under the #header. On my site it is.

    Any suggestions?

    Summary

    • Genesis Responsive Slider
    • Executive theme
    • iPad
    • Nav under header

    The .slide-excerpt is being position absolutely. However, it is as if it is ignoring the

    .flexslider .slides > li {position: relative;}

    Maybe the flexslider setting properties with JS on the LI is messing up the position:relative. I’m grasping at straws here though.
