We have Genesis SEO on our website http://www.renander.no (and on our other page we have Yoast)
If I understand correctly it is much easier with the Genesis SEO as there is no need to “work” on each page but one can easily use the default set up…?

From the tutorial I understand that you only need to insert text at the Homepage document title as well as Home meta description (and then just keep it all as it is and no needed to add it to each page…)?

Appreciate if someone has insight on this.

    Thanks

    Pretty much yes.

You can also use the SEO Data Transporter plugin to move your SEO Settings to Genesis from WordPress SEO by Yoast.

Thanks for your response. I appreciate it.
So I did these two settings but it does not appear when I google the site as a description like i get on the other site on Yoast.

Also, I feel I have more control over keyword at Yoast as I get a score per article and it also tells if I have used the keyword before.

Maybe there is something I am missing out on the Genesis SEO?

    regards

    What doesn’t appear?

Are you referring to the meta descriptions in Google SERPS for each post?
