I’ve found what I believe to be a bug in the Genesis Simple Edits plugin.
When I install it and remove the date and footer, it’s fine. It removes them. Unfortunately it also removes the ‘Leave a comment’ link and the icon.
Without Genesis Simple Edits my comment link and icon do appear on every post.
Does anyone else have the same problem?
I’m using Balance.
In the post info section I deleted the date and the word ‘by’.
I also deleted the footer back to top link, and all the footer credits text.
The rest was left untouched.
I’ve also found Simple Edits breaks the .css of the post-comments class in the Executive theme. When activated the gray and red (in this case) and upper-case text transformation go away leaving un-formatted text
