Hi,
I'm using genesis simple hooks plugin on my site.
But everytime I add some code into a hook, everything works except the code also shows up on the homepage on my site.
For example, I want to insert some adsense code after my post, and it shows up fine but the adsense also shows up after each post on the homescreen.
Any thoughts on how to fix this?

I only want the orange box to display after my posts but it’s showing up on the homepage after every article.
Do you know how to get rid of it on the homepage?
April 19, 2014 at 7:37 pm #101340AnitaKeymasterYou are not using the widgetized home page. You need to put in an "is not home page" or "is not front page" conditional statement in your hook code.

<div align="center"><a href="https://my.leadpages.net/leadbox/14390c173f72a2%3A14e7d3aeeb46dc/5768755258851328/" target="_blank"><img src="https://lh3.ggpht.com/80L4kejV1HyCkgfcwn-Me7uUMnUosCinOeFrAKBFKaKB2aK3ZFZSnGpcPyJLWOi_TIVfKZso-gZ-ISRvAPwW=s0"></a><script type="text/javascript" src="//my.leadpages.net/leadbox-689.js"></script></div>
Can anyone tell me how to edit it so it does not show up on the homepage?
Thanks

April 20, 2014 at 10:27 am #101447AnitaKeymasterCan you post the code you used in the hook box over here and also state which hook area you used?

April 20, 2014 at 10:48 am #101449razor9984MemberI did earlier. Here it is:
<div align="center"><a href="https://my.leadpages.net/leadbox/14390c173f72a2%3A14e7d3aeeb46dc/5768755258851328/" target="_blank"><img src="https://lh3.ggpht.com/80L4kejV1HyCkgfcwn-Me7uUMnUosCinOeFrAKBFKaKB2aK3ZFZSnGpcPyJLWOi_TIVfKZso-gZ-ISRvAPwW=s0"></a><script type="text/javascript" src="//my.leadpages.net/leadbox-689.js"></script></div>
Used in genesis_entry_footer

It looks like you're using News Pro on that site, so have you tried putting that code in the "After Entry" widget? That way, it would only show up after each single post, not on the home page or anywhere else the archives are listed.

All I want to do is edit my code in simple hooks so it doesn't show up on my homepage. That's all.
Do you know how to do this?
Thanks
April 22, 2014 at 10:08 am #101881SummerMemberYou'd have to enable the "Execute PHP" and include a conditional that only displays on single posts, not anywhere else.
How does the widget not do what you want? That's sort of the primary reason it's there, and I tried your code on a test site I have running News Pro, and it displays that call to action banner just fine. Was there something else you needed it to do?
