In regard to the slider on the AgentPress theme’s home page – I have multiple stock images that are not part of any pages, posts, or listings that I want to include in the slider. Is the only way to get these images into the slider to create 5 separate private pages/posts, with one image per page/post? I must be missing something.
Alternatively, how would I replace the slider with one static image?
The area is a widgetized area. You can use the Image Widget (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/image-widget/) to place a single image in there. Or you can use WP-Cycle to put a series of images that can rotate without having to connect to a page or post (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-cycle/).
Thank you, I appreciate your response. When using an image widget in the slider section of the AgentPress theme I’m getting the boarder of the ‘property search’ section overlaying the image on the right side. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this border? http://www.doneitrealtygroup.com
Look for this and delete the “border” line:
border: 10px solid #FFFFFF;
Thank you Anitac! Lastly, is there a way to pull the width of the slider section in to fit the width of the photo and to ensure the quick search is vertically centered? http://www.doneitrealtygroup.com. Thanks!
I meant to pull the height of the slider section in, not the width. Thanks!
I have an indirectly related question, I am trying to format the .slide-excerpt class which seems to be controlling that. However, it seems to be written on the fly as an in-document style by a mysterious hand! I added the properties for that class in the AgentPress CSS file with the !important added at the end but it is not honored. Would you happen to know where that style is coming from and how to override that? The test site I am building is at:
