If anyone is using IDX Broker with Genesis please help. How can I use a wrapper that corresponds to a city that is displayed.

    example

user searches washington dc or a zip code and i would like the footer and side bar to change based on the url that is displayed.

The good news is this can be done. You will first need to set up a custom link that returns the IDX results you want displayed. Then create a wrapper for it and assign that wrapper to the link. You will also need a way of assigning the specific widget content to the footer and sidebar areas of that wrapper. There are several plugins available which allow you to specify what widget content is displayed, whether by page or post ID, category, etc..

The bad news is you will have to repeat the process for each custom link you want to be displayed in a custom wrapper. That can become an organizational challenge, especially regarding how to manage the widget content.
