Hi,
I have a questions concerning the "go back" function, as mine is not working as it should....
I am using the "Foodie" Theme. I have a homepage that has a slider, and two genesis featured widgets amplified (Home middle and bottom) The Middle shows the latest post, the bottom shows the six latest post (Thumbnail end excerpt). Underneath it shows the "Go back" function pages 1,2,3..... etc. When I press any of the other pages 2,3,4, .... etc it will always only show page 1, with the 6 latest posts, but never the more older posts??? what can I do to fix this problem?
Any help very much appreciated,
thank you and many regards. alex.

July 3, 2014 at 1:06 am #112793aovokoMemberHello,
thank you... I do, but can you tell me where to find the reading settings ... ? In
July 3, 2014 at 6:01 am #112835Jodi PMemberSure. From your dashboard go to Settings>Reading and it is the first setting at the top!
July 3, 2014 at 8:08 am #112853Jodi PMemberAlso, sometimes when the pagination doesn't work there are inconsistencies within the Genesis theme settings and Reading settings. Please make sure you have the same number for Genesis>Theme Settings>Blog Page Template>Number of Posts to Show and Settings>Reading>Blog Pages Show at Most.
July 7, 2014 at 1:37 am #113184aovokoMemberThank you for all the help so far... but its not working.... I made sure that in alle three: Widgets, Genesis, Reading the number is the dame (6). But when I go back on pages now it is showing blank pages????
July 7, 2014 at 6:53 am #113201Jodi PMemberI'm so sorry I didn't catch this before, but the pagination is designed to work with the Home Bottom section and you aren't using the Home Bottom. You can get the pagination to work with the Home Middle, though, with a little change in the style.css file.
Find this section of code:
.paged .home-middle,
.paged .home-top {
display: none;
visibility: hidden;
}and replace it with:
.paged .home-top {
display: none;
visibility: hidden;
}Hopefully that'll get you going in the right direction!

July 7, 2014 at 12:30 pm #113234Jodi PMemberI'm guessing you now just need to make sure both "Work With Pagination" and "Show Page Navigation" are selected in the Home Bottom widget!
