Which way is the best to install Google Analytics in Genesis Framework?

I´m trying  http://yoast.com/wordpress/google-analytics/ and i configure with Google Analytics account and even recognize my UA code, but when i try to verify my site the ID tracking code snippet is not working on the Google Analytics account!

I´ve tried insert manually, but i have difficult to know where i can paste the script code.

Someone can help to find a solution to me?

    Thanks!

Got to Genesis > Theme Settings and place the entire GA script in the Header box.

    Hi,

I added the code to my header box but after that when I tried to verify my website in google webmaster has said that the code is in the wrong location.

Is there any other place I need to put the code?

    Thanks :)

Shall I keep the code on both boxes?

I couldn’t tell from this conversation if I needed to put the code in both the header and footer box (or if I need to wait more than 5 minutes).

Seems the header box is a neat, convenient way to add the code, but I can’t seem to get it to work.

Simply copy the code from your GA account into the header box.

Another solution is to install Yoast’s Google Analytics plugin and simple add the UA profile number

I added the new Google Analytics tracking code to the header area of my theme settings , but Analytics still tells me: “Status: Tracking Not Installed.”

I placed it in this site: http://valuemarketing.me

What could I be doing wrong?

Forget it, I just added the Yoast plugin.

That’s probably the easiest way however pasting the G.A Javascript snippet into the Genesis > Theme Settings > Header or Footer Scripts box is fairly easy also.
