    Change the height in here;

    #header {
        border-bottom: 5px solid #1E1E1E;
        border-top: 5px solid #1E1E1E;
        height: 150px;
        overflow: hidden;
    }

    changing the height from 150px to another number only makes the second line go lower.

    I just want to center the image between the 2 lines. what code should I write for that?

    Can you please try it in chrome and see if it works for you… as I tried a bunch of things and nothing!

    Thanks

    I tried this and is still not working:

    #header {
    border-top: 5px solid #1e1e1e;
    border-bottom: 5px solid #1e1e1e;
    height: 250px;
    vertical-align: middle;
    }

    Please help :)

    You should be lowering the number to bring it up, not making it larger to bring the line further down. You can actually remove the height and it will remove the space, thereby bring it in the middle of the two lines.

    Yes, i totally understand that if I remove the line, the image goes to the middle. But I wanted to have that padding of 20px in the top and bottom of the image between the lines…

    I guess that can’t be done the way I was trying to…
