I have a site I am designing for a client and they have two store fronts, so they want the logo in the center and then name logo for each store front, one on the right and one on the left. So it would look like this:
Name Logo Logo Name Logo
I put the first name logo as the header image and then I tried to use column classes to put the main logo and the second name logo in the header right widget. Here is what I put in the text widget:
<div class="one-half first"><img src="http://springfieldeyecare.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/logo-eye.png"</div> <div class="one-half"><img src="http://springfieldeyecare.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/logo-Northpark-Eyecare.png"></div>
When I did this the second name falls below the main logo instead of floating to the right of it. Is there something else I need to do to make this work right or do I need to add another widgeted area to make it work?
The site is in maintenance mode for the client, so you wouldn’t be able to view it unless I take it out. I can do this for a short time if need be.
Thanks for any help you can offer! I’m using the Executive Pro theme.http://springfieldeyecare.comDecember 22, 2013 at 3:18 pm #80805
Is the header right widget wide enough to contain both of the logos?

Thanks for the reply. Yes the right widget is 760px wide and the two logo pics are 380px and 300px. So even with the margin added there should be plenty of room. So not sure why it won’t work. I could make it one image, but I want it to be able to go vertical on mobile so that it would look like this:
It actually looks right mobile, just not on the computer screen. Any ideas?
Thanks!December 22, 2013 at 3:44 pm #80809
Can I see the site?

Ok, I took it live. I will leave it live for about 45 minutes, but then I will have to put it back in as I have to leave for the evening.
Thanks for your help!

I would remove the column classes and just add the images into the text widget, float one left and one right.

I just saw the closing div of “one-half first” is not closed like this </div>. It shows as < div> in the html.

That did it Lynne! Thank you so much!
I get so mad at myself when I miss these little mistakes. After looking at code for so long I guess I just missed that. Argggggggg!
Well, all is good now. Thank you again!
