I have 3 published posts in my dashboard that are full blown posts with text, pictures, and the whole 9 yards.

However, when I click view the post live, all it shows is the featured image with zero text.

I tried contacting hostgator support but they told me this is a design/development issue with WordPress.

I am not technical by any means, so what do I do to fix this error?

here is an example of one of my full blown posts that just show up as a picture when you view it live: [IMG][/IMG]

Here is the live link:

However, this is how the post shows in my editor: [IMG][/IMG]

Someone told me I need to add <?php the_content(); ?> to my single.php file?

They also said that some codes are now working in my index.php file and listed these codes:

align: “center”,
close: true,
closeText: “X”,
closeAlign: “right”,
remember: true,
expireIn: 2,
cookieName: “bugmebar”,
colours: true,
animate: true,
fixed: true,
fixedSpacer: false,
zindex: 9999999

Also if you scroll to the bottom of any page on my site there is some strange code that appears at the bottom. I believe it might be from a plugin that I use called ‘bugmebar’.

Please take a look at help me fix this if you can!

Likely you’ve named the image and the post exactly the same, causing a permalink conflict.

It’s not a theme specific issue but I have seen this before.

Change the post permalink or the image name. You can also verify it’s a permalinks issue by temporarily switching themes.
