I am getting really frustrated. Here’s my problem.
I am making changes to my stylesheet for child theme eleven40 and the changes are not updating real time. So I was playing around with the stylesheet and making changes to the header. When I was done experimenting, I typed in the original error free code and expected the header to return to the original eleven40 format but the header did not return to its original format. I emptied the cache and refreshed and still nothing. So I completely deleted both Genesis and eleven40 and reinstalled (I did remember to reinstall Genesis first) and that did not solve the problem. Am I right to assume that it’s a host issue.
