I posted a question about a month back, and then when I didn't get a response, tried it in another category. Still no response. Are questions getting answered anymore like the old website, or is that no longer an option?

This is a community forum, so answers are supplied by unpaid volunteers of the StudioPress community as a help to each other. That said, I'm sorry that you haven't gotten a response - that happens sometimes despite our best efforts.
The revamped StudioPress site now includes a 1:1 support option. You can submit a support ticket at any time via My StudioPress > Get Help on the top menu. I'd encourage you to continue to use the forums, but certainly submit a support ticket if you find your question(s) aren't being answered.
Hope that helps. 🙂
Carrie
Have you been helped in this forum? Pay it forward and answer someone else’s question. I bet you’ll know the answer to at least one question. 🙂
I host a weekly WordPress-focused podcast called Office Hours. I tweet @cdils.

I've experienced the same issue as the OP. I posted a thread almost 3 days ago now with no response. Just for some insurance, I submitted a support ticket with the same question about 4 hours later.
I have gotten no response to either the support ticket or the forum post. It's going on 3 days now and the support ticket system says that I would get a reply within 48 hours. It's over that now. My problem still persists with no help given at all.
In the old forum, I usually got a response to my posts withing 4-6 hours. Here? Three days and still nothing.
I want the old forum back. The 1:1 support is not happening for me. I cannot even check on the status of my support request.
SP has always been one of the most helpful communities for theme support and general WordPress support. Since the new forum change, it seems that it's worse than snail mail.
March 8, 2013 at 2:26 pm #25041nickthegeekMemberSorry that you are experiencing problems with this. We work very hard in help desk to reply quickly and your tickets should be coming to your email address. If you are not receiving responses please make sure that @copyblogger.com is whitelisted with your email provider.
As for the forums, I have to say I am incredibly proud at how well the community is stepping up to help. I'm seeing many more people answering and I'm seeing them write tons of free code. It might feel like something was lost because it changed, but from what I'm seeing by overlooking is the community is providing much more, and that is just amazing.
If you end up with your thread getting buried please drop us a message via help desk with a link to the thread. I can't promise an answer but I'll ask the community to check it and to be honest, I've been blown away with how good they are at helping.
The people helping here aren't ignoring things on purpose, sometimes things get buried, but they are great at going well above and beyond and deserve a huge round of applause.
