I just purchased Expose theme which says it comes with a custom header. I don’t see anywhere in the Dashboard where I can load my custom header.  Can someone please direct me to how I can add the custom header. Thank you.

    Did you check under Appearance?

    Yes, of course. There’s background but no Header under Appearance. That’s where it should be!

    Add this to your functions.php file and change the size of the header to what you need:
/** Add support for custom header */
    add_theme_support( ‘genesis-custom-header’, array( ‘width’ => 960, ‘height’ => 100 ) );
Thank you.  But, where is my functions.php file?

    Go to Appearance > Editor. Look on the right and click Functions.php. Then copy and paste the code above in to the bottom of that file and save it.

    I have a Functions section that says Custom Header. I added it to the end of that and it crashed my site. I’m pulling it back up now…

    Worked, thank you!

    Now, can you tell me why my boxes on the home-page aren’t all the same size and aligned? I don’t see anywhere to change the settings.

    You need to follow the instructions here – http://my.studiopress.com/setup/expose-theme/.
