    Hi,

    I am new in this forum, and I am modifying my first childtheme (Eleven40) on a clients website. I have purchased the premium plugin Genesis Extender, and I have already changed some things. But I have difficulties changing the height of the primary navigation menu. I can change some part of it, but not all aspects and not the sub menu. How many elements should I modify with CSS to change the height of the menu bar (incl. sub menu) from 65 px to 40 px?

    I would also like to remove the white horizontal 1-pixel-line between the header and the grey navigation menu, but I cant fugure out how to do it. Can anyone help?

    All the best,
    Torben

    To remove the white line, find this in your stylesheet:

    .nav-primary {
    border-top: 1px solid #fff;
    }

    and remove it completely.

    As for the height of the primary nav, find this:

    .genesis-nav-menu a {
    border: none;
    color: #fff;
    display: block;
    padding: 22px 18px;
    padding: 2.2rem 1.8rem;
    position: relative;
    }

    and try changing the 22px and 2.2rem to a smaller number (10px = 1rem) to make the height of the menu smaller.

    Thank you VERY MUCH Andrea!

    You just saved me a lot of time. I really appreciate that.

    With your help I also found this:

    .genesis-nav-menu .sub-menu a {
    	background-color: #fff;
    	border: 1px solid #eee;
    	border-top: none;
    	letter-spacing: 0;
    	padding: 16px 20px;
    	padding: 1.6rem 2rem;
    	position: relative;
    	width: 190px;
    }

    Here I changed the border to 0px and changed the 16px and 1.6rem to 10px and 1.0rem, so that the sub menu got the same height as the main menu.

    By the way: Inspired by you, I have changed my signature :-)
