I have the Church Child Theme and until a recent update of either Studio Press or Word Press I had it set for the blue color option. Now it is set for the black option and I can’t for the life of me find how to change it back to blue. We are looking into other themes for the site, but none are thrilling us at the moment so we’d like to have this one work for us again.
I don’t even see the instructions for my theme (unless I’m blind – in which case I apologize for the post).
Here is the site url: http://www.christchurchcolumbia.org/
Looks like this theme has been removed (and retired), clicking theme’s official link does not bring anything up here (http://www.studiopress.com/releases/church-theme-11.htm).
Ideally, on would go to Genesis Settings to change theme color. Since this theme has old code, that color change option may not be visible. So two options: either use new html5 based theme or resort to manual color changing via style.css file.
Let me know which colors you want to change.
Here is the tutorial on How to Create Style Options. Genesis updates blew the selector a lot of time and the solutions were on the old support forum which has been discontinued. You may have to log in to your my.studiopress.com account to view this. I used Church a long time ago. If you need further one-on-one assistance, drop me a line on my website.
