Hi Mark,
I did just that, and it still doesn't work. 🙁
September 5, 2013 at 11:59 am #60893markmelchMemberI'm looking at http://adultacnetreatmentreviews.com/wp-content/themes/agency/style.css and, unless I'm looking at the wrong file, I do not see the "#home-slider a.more-link { display: inline-table; }" anywhere.
September 6, 2013 at 12:41 am #61029SunilMemberHi Mark,
Yes. Its there. I've cut and paste that code from the style.css file below. I've placed it in the last line as you have suggested.
/* Home Slider
------------------------------------------------------------ */#home-slider {
-moz-border-radius: 5px;
-webkit-border-radius: 5px;
-moz-box-shadow: 0 1px 2px #999;
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 1px 2px #999;
background-color: #fff;
border-radius: 5px;
box-shadow: 0 1px 2px #999;
margin: 0 0 20px;
width: 100%;
}#home-slider p {
padding: 0 0 25px;
}.agency #genesis-responsive-slider {
-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;
border: none;
margin: 5px;
padding: 5px 0;
}.agency .slide-excerpt {
filter: alpha(opacity=100);
margin: 0;
padding: 22px 40px 22px 20px;
opacity: 1.0;
}html > body.agency .slide-excerpt-border {
border: none;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
}.agency .slider-next,
.agency .slider-previous {
margin: 0 -40px;
}.flex-control-nav li {
display: block;
float: left;
margin: 0 0 0 5px;
}.agency .flex-control-nav {
margin: 20px auto;
}#home-slider a.more-link { display: inline-table; }
September 6, 2013 at 10:18 am #61093markmelchMemberI suggested last line of the style.css file. I see it now. It looks to me like it is up around line 594 not at the end of the style.css. On Safari it looks like it is working. If you want to increase the spacing around the button try something like:
#home-slider a.more-link {
display: inline-table;
margin: 9px 0 0 72px;
}Set the margins to your liking. From left to right they are Top Right Bottom Left.
September 6, 2013 at 10:44 am #61099SunilMemberHi Mark,
I just looked at my site and it seems to be working! The blue button is not touching the last line of the excerpts. This is what I wanted all this while! It looks fine on all browsers. I did not add any spacing as you have mentioned above.
I'm using IE v10 and have no issues so far. But it may have a problem with the older IE browsers.
It looks fine on Safari, Firefox and Chrome too! Hey Mark! You are a genius! I'm just leaving it as it is.
Mark, there is just another problem. If you notice, below the slider, there are four small navigation buttons meant for clicking as an alternative to the arrows beside the slider. Its supposed to be at the center. I've placed it on the left, because if I placed it in the center, it will look very bad on IE browsers. It will look fine on all other browsers.
What happens is, IE will display it vertically instead of horizontally. That's horrible! You have any suggestions for this problem Mark?
September 6, 2013 at 1:32 pm #61132ablewebsMemberThis happens when you have Compatibility View set to ON in Internet Explorer. This is meant for viewing older Web sites, but often it gets clicked accidentally and never turned off.
September 6, 2013 at 2:05 pm #61134markmelchMemberSorry, I don't have a good way to troubleshoot IE issues.
