    Hi there!

    So I’m trying to get all my links in the article and sidebar to be permanently underlined with a dotted line.

    Currently they get dotted when you hover on them… but I want them to be always underlined.

    Problem is when I try to play with firebug to get that effect I also get the title of my posts underlined and I dont want that.

    I do not want the title of my post on the home page to be underlined, but every other link (in article and sidebar) yes!

    Any help to do that?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

    I would suggest setting a css rule for the post titles to negate the bottom border.  This way you could define all links to have the styling you wish.

    [css]
    .eleven40-red h2 a, .eleven40-red h2 a:visited {
    color: #333;
    border-bottom: none;
    }[/css]

    I hope this helps.

    You are welcome. I am glad I could help.

    Please make sure to thoroughly check your theme the new css rule did not have any unwanted results.

    The css rule could possibly affect other things. Not a big deal, just do a quick check.

    I just realized that when I hover on the headings they are clickable but stay black.

    Is it possible to get them to become blue when I hover on them (but of course without underline)?

    Hello,

    They are blue for me (without the underline). Are you seeing caching issues maybe?

    Ok,

    so I cleared the cache, and I did some hard refreshing but still when I hover on the title of my articles (for example the two articles at the bottom of the page) they are black…

    I see now– ‘visited’ links is the issue. This is what I meant from ‘unwanted results’.

    Small alteration from the previous;

    [css]
    .eleven40-red h2 a {
    color: #333;
    border-bottom: none;
    }[/css]
