I just bought the Enterprise theme and just trying to find out how to simple add an image on the Front Page as per the XML demo file?
I uploaded the demo file but no image appeared.
Seems so basic but I can not find any documentation on this.
Thanks.http://www.bestbusinessphonesystems.co.nzMay 21, 2013 at 11:08 pm #42136May 21, 2013 at 11:31 pm #42146
Sorry for my ignorance but how to you ‘install the Genesis Responsive Slider’? Do I have to upload a file?May 21, 2013 at 11:32 pm #42147
Go to Plugin and search for Genesis Responsive Slider http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/step-by-step-guide-to-install-a-wordpress-plugin-for-beginners/

Right – I installed the plugin…I set it up in the homepage widget…
I wanted a static page on the front. Do I have to add a featured image on the front page or do I have to add a post with a featured image to be pulled in?May 21, 2013 at 11:58 pm #42153May 22, 2013 at 1:36 am #42156
Thanks for your helo. What is ‘another’ plugin that you are referring to if I want to add images directly to the slider?
Sorry about these questions but this seems like pretty standard stuff that I thought would have been covered with the initial set up videos…like every other template I have bought – setting up sliders is one of the most documented things.

Is there any way to set up the site exactly as the demo site for enterprise? I thought that was what the XML file was supposed to do unless I am missing something. Maybe I missed some files? Just gets a bit frustrating when there appears to be no documentation and have to feel your way through. Setting up sliders sounds pretty standard to me but now I have different options.
Is there any way to have a static page on the front that pulls in posts or do you have to set reading to pull posts rather than pages?
I just installed the Easing Slider and getting closer but I really want it like the demo site.
The next thing will be to work out how to put in the columns below the image.
Thanks for your help.May 22, 2013 at 2:41 am #42161May 22, 2013 at 3:00 am #42162
Never seen that link – cheers. Think that should help A LOT.May 23, 2013 at 3:58 am #42305
I was following through the setup link.
I have installed the WP Cycle Images as per the instructions, uploaded images, but no images are appearing.
Can you please tell me what I have left off? I have gone through the insx time and time again but can’t see where I have gone wrong.
I have the featured page info pulling in correctly so I assume that the only way to get images to show up is through the WP Cycle.
Any help would be much appreciated. http://www.bestbusinessphonesystems.co.nz/
