    Hello,
    I’m using the modern Portfolio template and want to add some introduction text on the category page. Does anybody knows how to do this?
    Thanks for your help!

    Brad, thanks for your answer.

    I read your posts on http://wpsites.net/web-design/add-portfolio-page-to-studiopress-education-theme/
    http://wpsites.net/web-design/add-responsive-portfolio-page-to-lifestyle-pro/ and the one how to set up a Portfolio page
    from http://www.briangardner.com/portfolio-page/.

    Unfortunatly it is not working, as it should.

    On the portfolio-page two Pictures Shows up:

    <div class=”portfolio-featured-image”> and
    <div class=”entry-content”>.

    Any idea how to get remove the <div class=”entry-content”>?

    Thanks a lot in advance for your assistance!

    It’s local. But I can try to sent you a screenshot, if this would help?

    Maybe it’s the modern-Portfolio Theme, as there is a “Portfolio” in the widget already.

    /** Register widget areas */
    genesis_register_sidebar( array(
    ‘id’ => ‘portfolio’,
    ‘name’ => __( ‘Portfolio’, ‘mp’ ),
    ‘description’ => __( ‘This is the portfolio section.’, ‘mp’ ),
    ) );

    Another reason could be the code itself, as I did not change to HTML5 before.

    What do you think?

    Sorry but i don’t get PM’s.

    Hard to say what the problem is without looking at your site. Normally you can edit the category archive page to add intro text.

    Hello Brad,

    I changed to HTML5 – now everything looks different. So I have to restart again;-(

    Thanks for your time.

    Looks like the Thesis theme to me.

    Please install a StudioPress child theme after installing Genesis and i will take a look for you then.

    That’s a different site. I took it just to see the screenshot. What you see is the result of the Genesis 2.0 and the Child Theme Modern Portfolio.

    Not sure how to help you with this as normally its very easy to add intro text to any category archive.
