Hi there, I am wondering how I can better feature and organize content on my site, http://www.bound2paddle.com .

Theme is News.  I like have a feature image story carousel, but now my old content is getting pushed into the archives and I’m not getting enough variety on my homepage.

I also don’t know what to do with the primary/secondary menus.  I made the SUP/KAYAK/SURF menus ‘categories,’ but alas I’m not sure if that was the best route, or if I should to custom pages under each.  I would also really like to have drop downs but not sure where to start organizing my content/pages for such.

thanks for any advice here!!  Really need to figure this out.  Cheers.

You could take the three categories and add them to the Genesis Tabs and drag it to your home page – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/genesis-tabs/. This way they they’d get some home page visibility with out clicking the menu.

I’d also change the width of the video at the bottom to 600 from 640 so there is an even border on both the left and right sides.

The very top navigation is difficult to read with the background being transparent. It’s hard to see the black lettering.
