    I have a Philadelphia home health care site that uses the Metric theme. I would like to know what files need to be altered to make the blue background on the header and  home page a different color. Thanks.

    This CSS code when added to your child themes style.css file will remove the blue and change it to grey.

    #home-top-bg,
    #header {
    background: #444444;
    }

    This is the existing code with a background image.

    body {
        background: url("images/bg.png") repeat-x scroll 0 0 #002838;
        color: #444444;
        font-family: Arial,Tahoma,Verdana;
        font-size: 12px;
        line-height: 20px;
        margin: 0 auto;
        padding: 0;
    }

    Try installing the Firebug addon for Firefox and inspecting the different elements to find which code needs modifing,
