Hi,
I have created a number of portfolios each of which describe one of my Lectures or Workshops. I have divided the lectures and workshops into the two Types 1. Lectures and 2. Workshops and my question is now how I can display these two groups (Lectures and workshops) on two different pages? When I use the Archive page, all the portfolios are displayed on one page (http://tseconsult.com/portfolio/) - but I want to display them based on their Type, lectures on one page and Workshops on a different page, but how do I do that?
Can you recommend a plugin to solve the problem?
Or can I make a page and state the Portfolio ID's that I want to display? - Or is there another way to insert portfolios into a page?
Or how is it possible to display portfolios according to Type?I have found many plugins which can give me the Type, but I already have that in Executive Pro, I just need to know how to use them in order to display my content based on the CPT.
Any suggestions are very welcome as I am stuck.

You can grab the code from Executive Pro themes functions file as well as the taxonomy-portfolio-type.php file.
Simple as that.

- http://tseconsult.com/portfolio-lectures/
- http://tseconsult.com/portfolio-workshops/Would that be right?

Basically what I know your scenario, you want to show your CPT in two different pages.. & they are similar look like Blog Page where all your Specific CPT will be displayed? If above thing is correct, Then all you have to Create Two different Template And stick a loop with your Custom Query.
$args = array( 'post_type' => 'your post type', 'posts_per_page' => -1 ); $loop = new WP_Query( $args ); while ( $loop->have_posts() ) : $loop->the_post(); <!--Put your design Html structure Here--> the_title(); echo '<div class="entry-content">'; the_content(); echo '</div>'; <!--End your design Html structure Here--> endwhile;
Above is the sample code , If you are familiar with Programming, Then I don't think it will feel any difficulty..

Yes, that is exactly what I want.
I still consider myself new to modifying WP code maybe that is why I am struggling.....June 4, 2015 at 2:27 am #154823TrineMemberHi Brad,
I am not too sure exactly how to do it and would really like some more detailed instruction. Is it possible to pay for your assistance on this one? Please send me an email at [email protected] with a quote. I have previously treasured your free advice and I am happy to pay for it.

I must admit that I found this issue a bit tricky. I am not a programmer and finally decided to seek help from Brad Dalton.
I have never met Brad but I have read his many posts and free advice given in this forum so I decided to pay for his assistance something I did not regret!Brad definitely knows his way around WP, he is extremely helpful and replies to emails very fast. When more clarification was needed we settled the questions using Hangout and issues were solved immediately.
Bottom line is that if you are really stuck and need a problem solved fast, don't hesitate but pay the $47 for one month support at http://wpsites.net/registration/, it is worth it. (And I normally do not make recommendations)
Have a great day.
