I have a Genesis site (balance) with a custom post type “project”, for every project there is a field “year”.
The project category page uses the balance/portfolio template.
There is a custom “single-project” file to view a project.

I need  a page (portfolio) where I can select a year (an input field) and than view a list of projects FILTERED BY YEAR FIELD.

Can you suggest me something: a piece of code, an example, a guide, …?

If you’re using the Balance theme, I believe the portfolio page works with a widget installed in the “Portfolio” sidebar. If you install the Genesis Featured Widget Amplified plugin, you’ll be able to use that to specify a post type and then sort it by meta value.
