Thanks, makes sense. I tried adding <div class="blockquote">
but it's not reading the blockquote style. It is in my stylesheet however. Any idea?
Not really sure, the logic ends there haha. I'd try adding a new class in place (just make one), and make the text really big, or change color, and ensure that it's working.
Blockquote is an HTML element. You can't use it as a class. You were on the right track:
echo('<blockquote>your static text here</blockquote>');
