    Hi,

    I have the Lifestyle Theme and I am using the Jetpack Subscription widget. I want the text field in the widget to match the rest of the text fields in the sidebar. I am fairly new to using CSS and WordPress and I’m not a coder, so I need a little direction of where to go and what to do.

    My blog is still being set up but you can see the widget in the sidebar: http://www.realpageturners.com/

    I looked at the style.css, but I’m not sure which section has the CSS I need to use for the Jetpack subscription widget.

    I did some research and found that the Subscription form is wrapped in a `.jetpack_subscription_widget` container, so you can use this CSS class to target the form.

    However, I’m not exactly sure what I do with that container and what CSS to use to match the form field to the rest of the sidebar form fields.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Amy

    Hello,

    I did this recently to my site.

    You will have to adjust your style.css file around line ~1354

    [css]
    .jetpack_subscription_widget input[type="text"], /* match the jetpack subscription textbox to the search textbox */
    .s {
    background-color: #fff;
    color: #509ac9;
    font-family: ‘Oswald’, arial, serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    margin: 5px 2px 0 0;
    padding: 4px 0 5px 5px;
    width: 175px;
    }

    .jetpack_subscription_widget input[type="text"]{
    padding: 4px 0 5px 5px !important; /* override inline styling */
    }[/css]

    Having the textbox and button inline would be hard as the paragraph styling would have to be broken.

    I hope this helps or points you in the right direction.
