I want to remove the post date and other info on my blog at http://shamrabyrne.com
I looked it up online and found at that I should put the following in my child theme's functions.php file:
/** Remove the post info function */
I tried going to Appearance --> Editor --> Theme Functions (functions.php) and then just copying and pasting the above code into the file, but it didn't work. Did I put it in the wrong spot? Is this even the correct code? I downloaded the Simple Hooks plugin and tried putting the code in there, but I couldn't figure out how to get that to work either.
Use Genesis Simple Edits and Genesis Simple Hooks plugins.
There's already a post on this forum about how to do this. http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/how-do-i-remove-filed-under-and-tagged-with/
