Hi,

My blog URL is http://www.minterest.com/ and I’m using Focus theme. I noticed that it’s showing 2 full posts on home page. I would like to show only one and everything else should be grid arcvhies.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

You may have to change the number in two places. Go to Genesis > Genesis Settings. Scroll down to “Blog Page Template” and look for “Number of Posts to Show” – change to “1″.

If it doesn’t change – then you will need to go to Settings > Reading and change the number of blogs to “1″ in that location also.

I instructed you incorrectly. Find this in your Functions.php file – change features from 2 to 1.
if ( function_exists( ‘genesis_grid_loop’ ) ) {
genesis_grid_loop( array(
‘features’ => 2,
‘feature_image_size’ => 0,
‘feature_content_limit’ => 0,
‘grid_image_size’ => ‘grid-thumbnail’,
‘grid_image_class’ => ‘alignnone’,
‘grid_content_limit’ => 250,
‘more’ => __( ‘[Continue reading]‘, ‘genesis’ ),
‘posts_per_page’ => 6,
@anitac,

I don’t see these codes in my child theme’s fucntions.php. can you double check? Or can you give the exact location of the file to be edited and also… it must be done using hooks right?

Thanks a ton! It helped but the codes was within home.php file of the child theme. Thanks!

P.S. Please check my other thread http://www.studiopress.com/forums/topic/4-things-add-logo-style-widgets-change-banner-size-and-edit-navigation-text/ where I explained 4 issues.

Thanks!
