    I’m using the magazine pro theme. How do I make a large header image appear larger on my blog? I’ve updated my theme function width and height and it appears to give me a larger option on my header dashboard page … but physically it is still too small? I’ve tried following other video tutorials on how to update the style sheet too … but I am lost.

    So far, these are the changes on the theme function, but it’s not enough … what else am I missing?
    ‘height’ => 200,
    ‘width’ => 1000,

    You haven’t set up your CSS to show a larger header:

    .title-area {
         float: left;
         padding-top: 30px;
         width: 380px;
    }

    You need to change the width above and the height below:

    .header-image .site-title a {
         background-position: center !important;
         background-size: contain !important;
         float: left;
         display: block;
         min-height: 90px;
         text-indent: -9999px;
         width: 100%;
    }

    Thank you Lauren, but it still is not working. I updated the functions and css, I just followed your instructions and it still is not giving me a larger header. I set it to 1000×200 and the size it’s showing on my blog is the exact same as the smaller default. And I am using a 1000×200 picture.

    Any other suggestions? I must be missing something. I only changed the height to 200 and width to 1000, am I suppose to change anything else?

    Do you have a caching plugin installed? Your CSS still says the width should be 380px.
